ANNA MATELSKA

Anna Matelska is a dual-qualified lawyer, admitted to practise in both the United Kingdom and Poland, with over 20 years of professional experience in legal advisory work at the intersection of law, public interest, and international cooperation. She is the Founder and Managing Director of AM International Solicitors, a boutique law firm based in London, and also runs her Polish practice, Kancelaria Adwokacka Adwokat Anna Matelska, in Warsaw, where she is a registered attorney with the Warsaw Bar Council (ORA).

Anna provides comprehensive legal services to entrepreneurs, including corporate and commercial advisory support. For many years, she has assisted sole traders, partnerships, commercial companies, foundations, and associations, supporting both profit and non-profit organisations in day-to-day operations and strategic development — in Poland and the United Kingdom.

She also has extensive experience advising non-governmental organisations, including foundations and associations, providing guidance on governance, regulatory compliance, ethical risk management, and cross-border operations. Her work helps organisations operating in complex legal environments maintain transparency, accountability, and high standards of management, while staying focused on their social mission.

Anna began her legal career in the late 1990s in the Polish judicial system and later practised across multiple jurisdictions, gaining deep expertise in responsible leadership, the rule of law, and building sustainable institutional structures. Combining experience in both English and Polish legal systems, she brings a practical and values-driven approach to advisory work, particularly for mission-focused organisations.

As a legal adviser, Anna provides strategic insight, independent judgment, and a strong ethical perspective, shaped by decades of international legal practice. Her commitment to public service and cross-border cooperation makes her a trusted adviser to organisations seeking lasting and positive social impact.
